TIM PROCTOR  ( VARRYCK )

Tim Proctor is an internationally respected professional illustrator and horror actor. He is the creator, writer, and concept designer of the character Varryck and all associated properties contained therein. “Varryck” celebrates Tim Proctor’s filmmaking debut and he is the actor portraying the title role in the short film.

At age 9, Tim was selected to be an extra in the television movie, “The Children Nobody Wanted (1981),” starring Michelle Pfeiffer in her premiere leading role. He credits this enriching experience as the pivotal event that transformed him into an enthusiastic fan of cinema. Through a series of personal connections to the film’s location and community, he became aware of the medium’s innate power as a vehicle for poignant storytelling. He grew enamored with film’s ability to solicit authentic emotional responses from the audience, as well as implanting into us any desired reaction. He was also instantly captivated by the procedural artistry of the production process, his most profound memories of participation being his firsthand observations of set equipment and the operation of behind the scenes systems.

After earning his degree in Illustration at Memphis College of Art, his career flourished. The extensive body of artwork he has produced centers around iconic pop culture franchises and it has caused his name to be easily recognized within the art community. A tenacious passion for the horror genre was the driving force behind his goal of becoming a Walker on AMC’s highly revered hit television series “The Walking Dead.” Over the course of twenty episodes spanning Seasons 5-9 consecutively, he embodied different types of Walkers and there, he found himself at home within this type of bleak cinematic environment. Drawing upon past achievements and utilizing a diverse skill set to propel his work into the future, Tim’s own menacing visions now demand visibility.

From the obscure recesses of Tim Proctor’s unrestrained imagination, a macabre tale of human tragedy interwoven with skulking monstrosity creeps upon us. A vile entity of immense power who holds dominion over our darkest impulses emerges. In the wake of it’s ghastly presence, you are invited to bear witness to the wretched spectacle of his bizarre influence as the world is introduced to the loathsome new face of soul-chilling phobia, Varryck.
